Currently, Tyrade grows 10 different varieties of roses. Please note these types of roses are especially bred by Official Rose Breeding Organisations mainly in Holland, Germany, Italy, France, New Zealand, USA & Australia - they are bred like thoroughbred horses for optimum bloom colour, bud size, leaf colour/size, stem length, vase life, resistance to disease and production. Choosing a rose variety that grows well in your climate and has a good colour throughout the year, produces strong healthy stems at a fair rate of production and is also popular in the market is a lot more difficult than one thinks. Tyrade has chosen what they feel are the best "thoroughbred" rose varieties to suit the market on the Central Coast, Newcastle and the Sydney basin.
